While surfing channels yesterday, I came across Tyra featuring this woman - a blonde, big-haired American woman with a veritable Southern twang that would automatically imply "religious fanatic" or simply, another Southern nutcase. The latter might be true. Said woman is the head of the Church of Thin, a congregation of people (I suspect, mostly big-haire American women with the same Southern twang) who follow a strict set of commandments in order to keep their weight down). The dieting part is fine, but somehow, having to prayerfully say this at every meal "Lord, please help me be righteous. Please stop me from feeling ravenous hunger and over-feeding myself. Soda and small bites and kiddie portions are righteous dear Lord, help me be good" or something to that effect is really too kookoo for me. You know that look Tyra has when she disapproves or thinks her guest is a bit nutty? She had it the whole time.

Cathy, unfortunately was so nice despite everything. Don't you just hate it when people act like pinatas? You beat them and beat them and they still give you candy. I am guilty. And I sense, this might be cause for bad karma. Cross fingers.
